A HIGH SCHOOL MONSTER MUSICAL
Our 17th Annual Indoor Children's Musical.

October 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 at 1 & 4

Following up on their success with “THE RELUCTANT DRAGON”, lyricist Gary P. Cohen and composer Mark Baron are once again plunging into the world of children’s musicals. “A HIGH SCHOOL MONSTER MUSICAL” tells the tale of four rather unique but lovable high school students:  the great, great grandson of the Frankenstein monster,  a teenage werewolf, the great, great granddaughter of Dracula and a centuries old but still 18 mummy who are all struggling to fit in with life at high school. When they are nominated as senior class officers, the “monster squadron” must win-over the whole student body. With upbeat songs and a message of tolerance, A HS MONSTER MUSICAL” will prove to be great fun for everyone.

And you thought Plays-in-the-Park only did outdoor shows! Well, in October, we actually build a heated and covered extension to our backstage space in the very same building where we do our summer shows, effectively creating an indoor black box theater!

This is where we do our annual Children's musical theater presentation. We are able to seat 150 people. This has NOTHING to do with the State Theater - that is where we present JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT
annually in December.

HOW TO GET TICKETS:

IN PERSON --

Beginning Monday, Sept. 14th, come to the Plays-in-the-Park production office at the back of the theater any weekday between the hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. We will need to know the number of adult tickets AND the number of children's tickets. Children are $2.00 adults are $3.00 and we accept cash, as well as checks made payable to the Treasurer, Middlesex County. Come prepared with alternate dates as tickets sellout quickly and we only have 150 seats.
